Course 2: Mid to Late-Stage Alzheimer’s

This course is designed for caregivers working in congregate care settings such as adult day programs, residential care facilities, and assisted living communities. This course focuses on building the knowledge and skills needed to provide effective, compassionate care for individuals experiencing the significant changes associated with the mid to late stages of dementia. Participants will explore how creating a trusting, supportive environment serves as the foundation for high-quality care. Through this approach, caregivers can better support, enrich, and uplift the lives of individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia during these later stages of the disease.
